한국 사진가 이경수의 BIO
이경수는 대한민국 예산에서 출생했고, 현재 서울에서 거주하면서 사진교육과 사진작업을 하고 있다.
상명대학교 예술대학 사진학과 및 동대학원 디자인·사진학과에서 미술학사, 미술석사 학위를 받았다. 홍익대학교 일반대학원 사진학 박사과정을 수료했다.
작품의 주제는 가족이며 가족의 부제를 오랜동안 남기고 망각하지 않고 기억의 욕망을 채우기 위해 작업을 바탕으로 두고 있다.
또한 작품을 통하여 현대사회의 ‘우울과 ’피로’에 지친 타자들에게 치유를 바라는 내적 욕망을 갖고 있다.
아날로그와 디지털매체를 혼합 활용하여 내 감정의 바탕으로 과거와 현재의 기억을 표상화한다. 핀홀카메라와 고전프린트 기법 중 하나인 검프린트(Gum Bichormate Print) 기법 및 디지털매체를 혼합하여 작업을 진행하고 있다.
한국의 전통적인 오브제인 한복, 족두리, 버선, 누릉지 및 장갑, 꽃 등으로 가족에 대한 기억을 여러 층으로 이미지화시킨다.
또한 2D와 3D 매핑작업과 디지털의 미시적 세계에 대해서도 계속 깊게 연구하고 사진작업을 하고 있다
이경수의 작품은 서울 성곡미술관(2003, Sungkok Art Museum), 영월 동강사진축전 동강사진박물관(2003,DongGang Museum of Photography), 서울 토탈미술관(2001, Total Museum Of Contemparay Art), 한국현대사진작가 프랑스 초대전(2002, Montpellier a La Galerie photo, France), 뉴욕 갤러리훈(2007, Gallery Hun),서울 신세계문화홀(2008, Shinsegae Culture Hall),중국평요국제사진전(2009, China Pingyao International Photography Festival), 미국 산타페 박파인아트 갤러리(2011, Park fine art), 분당 갤러리 아트스페이스J(2019, Gallery Artspace J) 등에서 전시되었다. 또한 그의 작품이 프랑스 피가로 'Le Figaro' 일간 신문에 게제되었다. 이경수의 작품 동강사진박물관, 갤러리 ArtSpace J, 갤러리 라메르 소장되어 전시되고 있다.
BIO of Korean photographer Kyungsoo Lee
Kyungsoo Lee was born in Yesan, Korea, and is currently living in Seoul, teaching photography and working on photography.
He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the Department of Photography at Sangmyung University's College of Art and the Department of Design and Photography at the same graduate school.
Completed from Hongik University, Graduate School of Photography, Ph.D.
The subject of the work is family, and it is based on the work to satisfy the desire of memory without leaving the family title for a long time and not forgetting it.
In addition, through his works, he has an inner desire to seek healing from others who are tired of ‘depression’ and ‘fatigue’ in modern society
By mixing analog and digital media, I express past and present memories as the basis of my emotions.
He is working by mixing a pinhole camera, Gum Bichormate Print, one of the classic printing techniques, and digital media.
Traditional Korean objects such as hanbok, jokduri, beoseon, nureungji and gloves, flowers, etc., image the memories of the family in layers.
In addition, he continues to study and photograph the microscopic world of 2D and 3D mapping as well as digital.
